Game jam post-release initial feedback

Got a lot of feedback from lots of different people!

I'll try to summarize what I felt were the most important ones here; it'll also give me a chance to try out itch.io's devlog text editor features.

I do not know whether I shall implement these in this game (as a future update) or utilize these in an upcoming project. Only time will tell.

I will also keep on updating this table.

FEATUREMUST
GOODOPTIONAL
Typewriter effect should be "skippable", either by allowing the player to disable it in the options menu or maybe the user can click anywhere on the screen to skip the effect and display all text at once
This was the most important one, not just because lots of people asked for it, but also because it will help me skip long paragraphs of text when I'm debugging and play-testing the game multiple times.

Make it mobile-friendly

Some people played the game on their cellphones and, because of that, some assets were not displayed/used correctly. So, as far as Twine-made text-based adventures are concerned, I'd look into making games mobile-friendly (or be very careful with the usage of assets)

Use some sort of proof-reading tool (like Grammarly); however, this depends on which game engine or tool you are using and whether it's supported on that tool or not. I used Twine, so I did not think I could use any of those extensions (though Twine is chrome-based, but I should check)

Though personally I am not a fan of using these tools, but after writing so much and play-testing the game multiple times, there came a point where I would miss the most obvious of typos, spelling mistakes and such. Missing typos and other stuff might be a personal thing, but I would definitely look into using some tools like Grammarly.

Look into itch.io's Butler tool, for automating build delivery

My game was super simple; in the end, it was just an html file. But exporting it to Twine, and then pushing it to Github and then making a zip file to upload it to itch.io became a bit tiresome, ESPECIALLY after I would find some typo or make a small fix.
I should look into this Butler tool and see what I can do with it.
